DIG CKR flags off cross country run of Police Public School

Srinagar, Apr 30: Deputy Inspector General of Police, Central Kashmir Range, Shri Ghulam Hassan Bhat flagged off a cross country run organized by Police Public school Bemina for its students and teachers at Nehru Park here this morning.
580 students and teachers of the school participated in the run which started from Nehru Park and culminated at Botanical Garden, Srinagar.
The participants were distributed in four categories, Boys (senior), Boys (junior), teacher (female) and Girls.
In Boys (senior) category Naveed Ahmad bagged first place, Tahir Ahmad and Muneer Khan got second and third place respectively. In Boys (junior), Sarfaraz Ahmad bagged first place, Waseem Lateef and Zakir Malik second and third place in the competition. In Teacher (female) category Masrat Nazir, Gulnaz Akhter and Waheeda bagged first, 2nd and third place respectively.
Similarly, in Girls category Farhat Saleem got first place while as Safoora Rehman and Rabiya Nazir bagged second and third place respectively.
On the culmination of the run refreshments were served to all the participants. The DIG CKR complimented the Principal and the teachers of the school for organizing the event successfully. He said that a function will be organized wherein the participants who won first three places in different categories will be honored.
SO to DIG CKR Manoj Kumar Pandita, SP East Sheikh Faisal Qayoom, SDPO Nehru Park Syed Nasir Hussain, DO Nehru Park Rizwan Khan, and Principal, Police Public School Tazim Whidi were present on the occasion.
