Flower show organized at MHAC School

JAMMU, Apr 30: Flower Show in the month of April is an annual feature of MHAC School, Nagbani. Students participate in this at Inter-House level & under Pre-Senior A (7th -8th), Pre-Senior B (9th-10th) & Senior (11th - 12th) Categories.
More than 800 students from Classes 7th to 12th participated in Fresh flower, Floral Basket, Ikebana, Miniature, Bouquet, Floral Carpet & Dry Flower arrangements.
A mass participation with more than 150 entries in Floral Carpets presented a splendid view & filled the campus with floral fragrance. Regional Director, Dr. (Mrs.) Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj inaugurated the competition & was impressed with the creativity & presentations of boys & girls both from different classes.
She applauded the efforts of students & congratulated the winners & participants. She was accompanied by the Principals from various schools of DAV's of Jammu.
Dr. Sarika Manhas, (Asstt. Proff., Dept. of Home Science, Jammu University), Dr. Samridhi Arora (Asstt. Proff., Dept. of Home Science, Jammu University), Dr. Renu Dhar (Asstt. Proff., Dept. of Home Science, GCW, Gandhi Nagar) were the esteemed Judges. Judges found it very tough to judge the entries for 1st, 2nd & 3rd positions.
