DC reviews arrangements for SSB exams

KATHUA, May 26: District Development Commi ssioner (DDC) Kathua, Ramesh Kumar today convened a meeting to take stock of the arrangements put in place by the concerned departments for conduct of Service Selection Board (SSB) examinations scheduled on May 29, 2016.
The DDC nominated Chief Education Officer, Kathua Balbir Singh as Nodal Officer for liasoning and smooth conduct of SSB exam. He directed the Principals of public and private colleges and schools to assist the district administration in ensuring fair and transparent conduct of examinations. He directed the administrators to inspect the venues prior to the exams to ensure that proper illumination and appropriate seating facility is in place so that the candidates don't face any inconvenience. He also asked the officials to have videography of written test at regular intervals to ensure transparency of the process. Further, the DDC informed that restrictions under Sec 144 will be imposed around the examination centers.
ADDC Kathua Manmohan Singh, ACR Kathua Atul Gupta, ACD Kathua Sunil Sharma, ASP Kathua Khalil Poswal, Magistrates, Principals of various colleges and Higher Secondary Schools and officers attended the meeting.
