After flip-flop, Bukhari resumes office

Srinagar, Feb 20: Former revenue Minister, Syed Basharat Bukhari who had tendered his resignation from the cabinet on Monday resumed the office and said that hope all the issues mentioned in the resignation letter has hopefully been resolved.
Bukhari said, “Yes, I resumed the office today. I met with the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti today and discussed all the issues not only vis-a-vis the letter citing resignation post reshuffle but also the communication which I had sent prior last month (January) and many more related to party affairs and the governmental issues as well.”
Rejecting the rumors that he had tendered his resignation over the issue of portfolio, Bukhari said, “No portfolio was not the issue but certain developments over the period were looming large there but now I hope everything goes well.”
