Kheer Bhawani delegation calls on Div Com Jammu

JAMMU, May 22: A delegation of representatives of Kheer Bhawani Mela committee called on Divisional Commissioner, Dr. Mandeep K Bhandari, and urged for facilitating smooth and safe travel of pilgrims from Jammu to Kheer Bhawani in view of this religious event. Meanwhile, the Divisional Commissioner also convened a meeting to review preparations for smooth conveyance of pilgrims for the upcoming Kheer Bhawani Mela.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Bhandari directed the Relief and rehabilitation Commissioner, Traffic and Security authorities to work in tandem to ensure effortless and comfortable journey of the pilgrims. He further asked the Relief Commissioner to provide sufficient transportation both for advance party and the routine pilgrims. He stressed upon all the stakeholders and concerned authorities to keep close coordination to ensure hassle free journey of the pilgrims.
Among others the meeting was attended by Relief and Rehabilitation Commissi oner Y P Suman, Additio nal Commissioner Rehana Batul, SSP (Traffic) Nisha Nathyal, SP City North Vinod Kumar besides other officers.
