Summer camp in Rich Harvest School concludes

JAMMU, Jun 20: Summer camps are known for providing a safe environment where children gain self-confidence as they learn and master new skills.
Like every year, this year too Rich Harvest School hosted a summer camp for classes Kindergarten to 8th from 6th June to 20th June.
The camp was open to outsiders as well. Creatively designed activities were executed by the learned faculty members of the school. The Rich Harvest camp allowed the students to avail a wealth of opportunities from the field of sports, creative art, Martial Arts, calligraphy, Spoken English, Visual Arts and performing arts. Rifle shooting was an added attraction for the young campers.
On 20th June, the last day of the camp, self- confidence and new friendship bonds were visible as the participants took part in fun filled games like musical chairs, pushing the balloon, treasure hunt. Lots of prizes were given to the students.
The camp culminated with a ceremony wherein the students' achievements were applauded by Principal Ms. Anita Bhatia while presenting them with participation certificates and gifts to winners of various games. Each child went home with fond memories and newly acquired skills.
Managing Director Mr. Gambhir Dev Singh Charak addressed the participants in which he emphasized the importance of dignity of Labour and impressed upon the staff to display those qualities which they wish to inculcate in children.
