Hunger strike of Contractual Lecturers enters 129th day

JAMMU, Jun 22: The hunger strike of (10+2) Contractual Lecturers entered 129th day todaybut without any concrete result from the Govt side during this period of long spell the Contractual Lecturers feeling disturb themselves and also feeling annoyed with such type cruel behavior of the govt.
While addressing the media person Mr. Arun Bakhshi President of the Association said that if this is the fate of the teaching fraternity (sitting on roads, raising slogan, and living without Gobs etc) then what would be the fate of a common man.
The Contractual Lecturers showed resentment against the govt and the govt runner who are highly qualified but never paying any attention towards the teaching communities due to whom they are.
The most important example is this that the Dy. Chief Minister who himself remained as a teacher but very strange to say after becoming a politician he never tried to look after the grievance of suffering teaching community.
Mr. Bakhshi also said they have given Education to the students in far flung areas on meager salaries Rs 7000/- In order to run the defunct govt schools. He said haven't done any type of crime while doing so he said due to education given by we people. So many officers have been produced (IAS, IPS, Doctors, Engineers, Layers etc).
Mr. Pankaj Sharma District President of District Ramban also said that we are generally demanding our regularization as per Civil Services Special Provision Act 2010, Legislature passed for all Ad-hoc Contractual Consolidated Employees as one Measure.
He also demanded that we will continue our chain hunger strike till the matter relating to our request stands resolved. Mr Amit Maini, Azhar Ahmad, Richa Maini and Ramana Kumari were also on chain hunger strike.
