IGP Jammu expresses condolence for JKP Martyrs’

Jammu, June 23: Today Inspector General of Police Jammu Zone, Jammu, Dr.S.D. Singh Jamwal-IPS organized an Iftaar for prominent citizens of Jammu representing all walks of life and religion. Before Iftaar the IGP expressed his sincere condolence for the all Martyrs of J & K Police including the recent departed noble soul of late DySP Mohamad Ayob Pandit and 6 martyrs who died in the line of duty in Achabal. He also emphasized the role of society in bringing peace and hormoney in the state and explained that the festival of EID and the holy month of Ramadan depicts the spirit of love, brotherhood and peace. The prominent citizens also expressed their grief on such incidents and express their solidarity with the bereaved family of Martyrs and applauded the role of JKP.
Before Iftaar a two minute silence was observed by all those attending the event, special prayers were also conducted in respect of the sacrifices of the gallant departed souls after Nimaz.
