Thief arrested and stolen property recovered.

Jammu, June 23: In continuation to operation Meghdhoota special drive against Burglary and theft cases launched by Jammu Police, today Gandhi Nagar Police achieved a major success by apprehending one Burglar and recovered stolen property.
On 21/06/2017 one Vijay Kumar S/o Dwarka Nath R/o H No.327/A Gandhi Nagar lodged a written complaint that on 19/06/2017 some unknown person entered into his Store (Godown) and decamped with LEDs and cooper pipe sets. On his complaint, FIR No. 110/17 was registered at P/S Gandhi Nagar and investigation started. During the course of Investigation several suspects were rounded up and one of them namely Satnam @ Shotu S/o Daleep Singh R/o Valmiki Colony Gandhi was rounded up and on his disclosure stolen property 03 LEDs worth Rs 1,50,000/- were recovered from his possession.
In this connection case FIR stands registered in Police Station Gandhi Nagar Further investigation of case is going on.
