Hunger strike by Contractual lecturers enters 132nd day

JAMMU, June 25: The hunger strike by contractual lecturers (10+2) enters 132th day but no response has been received from the govt. side till date.
Today on 2SZh of May 2017, they have been demanding for their regularization as per the Civil services Special Provision act 2010.
A policy framed for the Regularization of all the ad-hoc/ Contractual/Consolidated employees after rendering seven year of services.
Contractual lecturers protested outside the press club they pick-up Black Flag in their hands and raising their slogans.
While addressing the media person Zabir Hussain Shah State President of the Association said that govt i; warned to stop such type of apathetic attitude of the govt towards 10+2 Contractual Lecturers who are on hunger strike since 14th Feb. 2017. He also said that govt to stop such type of cruel attitude towards the highly educated 10+2 Contractual Lecturers. This type of behavior of govt. gives disregard towards the teaching communities.
Mr. Shah also said that we have firmly decided to sit on hunger strike till some concrete result comes from govt.
He also said that each and everything should be in black and white. He also said that the association finally decided that we will not lift this DHARNA of Hunger Strike till their cases for Regularization as per Civil Services Special Provision Act 2010 are finally settled.
