Army organises drawing competition

Jammu, Aug 11: Army organised a drawing competition on the theme "People Friendly Army" at Mendhar in Poonch district, today. Students from Government Middle School, Mankot and nearby villages participated in the competition to showcase their skills with painting brushes and crayons and expressed their imaginations on the canvas.
The participants were felicitated by the Principal, Government Middle School, Mankot. Speaking on the occasion the chief guest congratulated all the participants for showing such zeal and enthusiasm, he also applauded the students for their efforts and encouraged them to make the best use of such platform to display their individual talent.
The parents and the locals expressed their gratitude to the Army for conducting such events and said that organising such events for young students immensely helped in enhancing their creativity and helped giving their shape to their expression.
