Police arrests Brugler, recovers stolen mobile phones

JAMMU, Aug 12: In continuation to operation Meghdhoot, a special drive against Burglary and theft cases launched by Jammu Police, today Bus Stand Police achieved a major success by apprehending one Burglar and recovered 11 Mobile Phones.
On 23-3-2017 one Shgaffah Aziz D/O Sh. Abdul Aziz R/o Shanpora Distt. Srinagar lodged a written complaint that one unknown person Snatched her two mobile phones. On this, case FIR No. 27/2017 U/S 382 RPC was registered at Police Station Bus Stand and investigation of the case was taken-up by SHO himself. During the course of investigation several suspects were rounded up and strenuous efforts were made to recover the snatched Mobile phones.
Today on 12-8-2017 one suspect Vicky Rajput S/o Des Raj R/o Gandoh, Doda A/P Jammu during questioning revealed that he has snatched the above said mobile phone.
On further interrogation he admitted his involvement in more such type of cases and on his disclosure 11 snatched /stolen mobile phones were recovered from his possession.
The arrest and recovery was made by the team headed by SHO Police Station Bus Stand Inspr. Ravi Kant under the supervision of SDPO City North Sh Varun Jandiyal and SP City North Dr. Vinod Kumar IPS.
