Police organizes Anti-Drug Awareness Rally

JAMMU, Aug 12: On eve of Independence-2017, today Jammu Police organized Anti-Drug Awareness Rally in the city which was flagged off from District Police, Lines Jammu by Ashkoor Ahmed Wani, IPS, DIG of Police, JKS-Range, Jammu (now IGP). SSP Jammu Dr. Sunil Gupta, IPS, SP City South Sandeep Choudhary, IPS, Dy. SP DAR DPL Jammu and other Police Officers were present on the occasion.
The rally passed through the Gandhi Nagar Green Belt Park, Gole Market, Nai Basti, Satwari, Sanjay Nagar, Nanak Nagar, Shivaji Chowk, Bikram Chowk, Jewel Chowk, Canal Road, Bakshi Nagar, Sarwal, Tali Morh, Janipur, Ambphalla, CPO Chowk, Library Chowk, Pacca Danga Shalamar Road, Purani Mandi, DC Office Crossing, Gujjar Nagar, Bagh-E-Bahu, Narwal, Panama Chowk and culminated at DPL Jammu.
The aim and object of this rally was to aware the general public and youth in particular to "Say No to Drugs" and lead a healthy and happy life. The public of the area appreciated the roll of Jammu Police for such type of awareness.
