White Knight Corps bids farewell to braveheart with full military honours

Jammu, Aug 13: The Army today paid last tributes to Naib Subedar Jagram Singh Tomar, who was martyred on the Line of Control (LoC) in KG Sector on 12 August 17 while responding valiantly to unprovoked firing by Pakistan at the Line of Control (LoC).
Wreath laying ceremony was organised at Rajouri, where wreath was laid by General Officer Commanding Ace of Spades division and all ranks. Wreaths were also laid on behalf of Army Commander Northern Command and General Officer Commanding White Knight Corps.
The mortal remains of the soldier is being sent to his native village for performing the last rites. Naib Subedar Jagram Singh Tomar, 42 years, belongs to Village Tarsana, PO Porsa, District Morena, MP. He is survived by wife Smt Omavati Devi, one son and one daughter.
Naib Subedar Jagram Singh Tomar was a dedicated, brave and sincere soldier and a thorough professional. He loved his job to the core. The nation will remain indebted to him for the supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty. He will continue to motivate the future generations.
