KNIT celebrates I-day, Janamashtami

Jammu, Aug 16: Kotwal National Institute of Teaching (KNIT) Celebrated Krishan Janamashtami & Independence day in the school premises today with great enthusiasm, patriotism religion fervor. A cultural programme comprising the songs, speeches and skit was presented to mark the celebrations. Song sung by Manvi Arora "Eh Mere Watan Ke Logo" wan a big applause; Patriotic songs depicting Lord Krishna's life were the attractions of the programme. The Speakers highlighted the life of Lord Krishna and Natkhat Bal Gopal's 'leelas'. The Speaker impressed upon the students to feel proud to be Indians work for eradicating poverty, illiteracy, castism, corruption & other evils from the society. Then only India will attain the real freedom. The Principal Mrs. Bimla Billoria in her address said that real celebration would mean when we follow the teachings of lord Krishna do our karma honestly and truthfully. Indian should strive hard for strengthening communal Harmony.
Prof. J.L. Kotwal, The Director of the School in his key note address underlined the need of the hour to make India corruption free, poverty free a literate country so that it achieves the Prime Minister's great ambition of making India a super-power in every field, He said the India of Dr. Kalam & Prime Minister Modi can be made built in the youth only.
