JWCCL to hold women convention in Dec

JAMMU, Oct 14: A new hope has enlightened the minds of women of Jammu Women Credit Cooperative Limited with the assurances of Chief Minister Ms Mehbooba Mufti extending full help in converting the JWCCL units into a Women Bank. Addressing a press conference here today, Kailash Verma, chairperson JWCCL, told media persons that she had a meeting with Ms Mufti on Sept 20, 2017 in which she has assured that wherever her help is required for converting JWCCL units into a Women Bank, she is ready to provide that. Verma appreciated the response shown by Ms Mufti and said that all the 300 women employees of JWCCL feel happy on the concern shown by Chief Minister.
Verma while lauding the attitude of Ms Mufti said that JWCCL board will soon submit a proposal for converting JWCCL units into a women bank to the Chief Minister. Meanwhile, JWCCI board has decided to hold a women convention in the month of December, 2017 in Distt. Kathua in which Ms Mufti will be invited to address the women associated with the units.
