16/10/2017

Jammu, 15 Oct: Jammu and Kashmir Unity Foundation will be observing Black Day on Oct 22, 2017 to remember the sacrifices of lakhs of Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir to defeat the invasion of the State spearheaded by Pakistan Army in 1947 erroneously described as Tribal Invasion.
A Seminar titled "Pakistan's Military Invasion not Tribal Raid of Jammu and Kashmir will be organized on Oct 22.
Addressing a press conference here today Ajaat Jamwal, president JKUF alongwith Advocate Ankur Sharma Dr. Hari Dutt Shishu said that Tribals from Pakistan only constituted the front flank of the Invasion only to disguise the role of Pakistan Army.
Her said that the entire mobilization of tribals and army was done in the name of Jihad. It will be very proper to describe the 1947 invasion of Jammu and Kashmir by Pakistan as the first Jihad unleashed after the Independence of India on 15 August 1947.
The Jihad is continuing even now in the state as the new Islamist terrorists pushed in, indoctrinated, financed and armed by Pakistan are continuing with their mission of separating Jammu and Kashmir from India.
Advocated Ankur Sharma said it is unfortunate that Govt of India is still reluctant to recognize the violence unleashed in the state by Pakistan and its flanks as Jihad. He said that Pakistan is spending crores through its cronies in Jammu and Kashmir to radicalize of segments of Muslim society in the State in the name of Islam.
He said that Govt of India has taken no effective measures to reverse the radicalization of minds in the state, there is still lot to be done in this direction.
It is an imperative not only to destroy terrorists operating in the State but also to dismantle the indoctrination infrastructure that creates terrorists.
Others present on the occasion were Sanjay Gupta, Pushvinder Singh, Vikram Chib, Zeeshan Kazmi and Neeraj Sharma.
