Mahila Cong protests against protecting Jai Shah

JAMMU, Oct 16: To lodge protest against failure of the BJP led NDA Government at the Centre to take action against Jai Shah, son of the BJP president Amit Shah for his business deals, activists of Mahila Congress under the leadership of Pradesh Mahila Congress president Indu Pawar, Ex-MLA, today held a massive demonstration. Mahila Congress activists also protested against portraying former Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi with pro-separatist leader Asiya Andrabi. Hundreds of activists of Mahila Congress were gathered at Exhibition Ground from where they, shouting of slogans.
Addressing the gathering Mahila Congress president, Indu Pawar lambasted NDA Government for defending BJP president Amit Shah's son on business deals of his companies. She demanded constitution of a judicial commission, comprising two sitting judges of the Supreme Court, to reveal the truth. She also asked Amit Shah to resign on moral ground to ensure 'free and fair' probe into his son's business dealings.
She said that Jai Shah's growth is reflection of BJP's Vikas Mantra. "The way companies of Jai Shah, grew during the last three year reflects that Jaisymbolizes Saffron Party's Vikas plank on which the party had fought 2014 Lok Sabha elections", Ms. Pawar said.
"It is really surprising that educated unemployed youth of the whole country are struggling to get employment, Amit Shah's son has earned crores and crores of rupees within three years", Kumar sarcastically said, adding, "BJP's model of Vikas is Jay Shah's growth". She said that Jai Shah's case has exposed BJP government's claim of providing corruption free government.
“The resent incident in which one top separatist leader Asiya Andrabi has been shown a role model along with former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and other great personalities like Mother Teresa, in the government campaign for "Beti-Bachao Beti-Padhao" in Kashmir is insult of the nation", she said and demanded action against those who were responsible for this incident. She took BJP ministers to task for maintaining silence on this issue. Other who spoke on the occasion are Vandana Makhnotra, Santosh Sharma, Sunita Rajput, Guddi, Rani.
