DIG Jammu holds darbar of officers at Samba

Jammu, Oct 18: Rafiq-Ul-Hassan, IPS DIG JSK Range held an introductory meeting with Police officers/officials at DPO Samba in order to have an overview of functioning of field formations. DIG briefed all the officers/officials about his bent of mind and imparted necessary directions with regard to performance of their duty. Samba police will launch a drive against drug peddler, gambler and manufacturer of illicit liquor. All the SHOs have been directed to intensify patrolling/naka checking in view of Darbar move to winter capital.
It is stressed upon the officers to take police public meetings regularly and address the grievances of the people reported in the police station promptly. In this way police can gain the confidence of the general public.
Soon after introductory meeting a Darbar of officers/officials was held at DPL Samba. In the Darbar SSP Samba highlighted the achievements of Samba police and ensured that Samba police will not leave any stone unturned in service of nation. DIG stress upon the officers/jawans to work with sincerity, dedication and transparency.
DIG JSK Range visited the border police station Ramgarh and interacted with the officers/jawans posted there.
This police station is a remote police station and deals with the people of border area. All the I/C Border Police Posts were directed to intensify patrolling/alert naka points and conduct proper searching of vehicles moving towards city from border in their respective areas to defeat the evil designs of ANEs.
Besides the officials following officers namely Anil Mangotra, SSP Samba, Raja Adil Hamid, Addl. SP Samba, Abhisheikh Sharma, SDPO Vijaypur, Shri Tanveer Ahmed Jeelan Dy. SP Hqrs. Samba, Mohammad Usman, SDPO Bari Brahmana, Parshotam Lal Dy. SP DAR DPL Samba, Kuldeep Bhat, Sr. PO and Bishan Dass, PS to DIG JSK Range Jammu have attended the meeting /Darbar.
