HC orders appointment /selection of lecturer Oral Medicine and Radiology in Indira Gandhi Dental College shall remain outcome of petition

JAMMU, Nov 23: In a petition filed by Dr. Imran Malik seeking quashment of the impugned communication bearing No. ME-Gaz-207/ 2004-Par-II, dated 24th October, 2017 passed Addi tional Secreatry Health & Medical Education to the extent it recommends the post of Lecturer Oral Medi cine and Radiology under open merit category instead of RBA category in violation of the Reservation in arbitrary and illegal manner.
Justice Janak Raj Kotwal of J&K High Court Jammu Wing after hearing Adv Pranav Kohli for the petitioner issued notice to respodents and directed to file objections and ordered that meanwhile subject to objections and till next date before the Bench, notification /selection /appointment qua the post of lecturer in the discipline of Oral Medicine and Radiology in Indira Gandhi Dental College, Jammu pursuant to letter No. ME-Gaz-207/2004-part-II dated 24.10.2017 shall remain subject to further orders in the MP. JNF
