Care Educational Trust conducts Kaushal Mela

Katra, Dec 6: Care college and Care Computers under the aegis of Care Educational Trust conducted “Kaushal Mela” on 6th Dec 2017 at Auditorium of Government Polytechnic Bikram Chowk, Jammu. As part of Mass Mobilization for PMKVY Skill Development Programs lauched by Prime Minister of India Narender Modi, Kaushal Mela was conducted for the awareness of the student and public at large.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, Honourable Member of Parliament was the Chief Guest while Kulbushan Khajuria CEO JUDA, Prof Dr Vinod Sharma HOD Computer Science Depart ment of Computer Univer sity of Jammu, Er Arun Bangotra Principal Govern ment Polytechnic Jammu was the guest of honour.
Over four hundred and mostly women candidates participated in the Kaushal-Mela. Speaking on the occasion, Jugal Kishore lauded the vision of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in ensuring skill development of Indian youth with special focus on candidates belonging to the Under privileged section of the society.
He noted that women candidates coming out in such large number in today's Kaushal- Mela is indicative of changing social norms. Jugal Kishorewhile interacting with the participants advised them to learn new skills. "India needs you and needs you skilled, you are the power that would make India strong, you are the people for whom our Prime Minister Narendra Modi dreams big," said Jugal Kishore. Prof Dr Vinod Sharma in his address said," Govern ment wants to awaken the power of youth and is spending liberally in this direction, Kaushal-Mela is beginning of a new chapter of mass mobilization.
Manish Pathania, Training Partner, while sharing the details of the programme said, "under the renewed initiative over 10 million youth would be trained in various fields thus marking a welcome change in their lives. I call upon the youth of J&K to get maximum benefit under the scheme.”
“All skill development initiatives are 100 percent funded by the Government of India, it accommodates school dropouts, provides skills and also certifies it for better employment opportunities globally," said Pathania. Members from PMKVY and other dignitaries were also
present on the occasion.
