NC leaders pay tributes to Babasaheb Ambedkar

Katra, Dec 6: Glowing tributes were paid the Babasaheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar, the architect of the Constitution of India, on his 61st death anniversary with National Conference leaders recalling his contribution towards uplift of weaker sections of society. The leaders paid floral tributes to Babasaheb at a function held at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan this morning.
Leading the prominent workers to pay tributes, Co Chairperson, NC SC Cell Mr Vijay Lochan and Provincial Secretary Sheikh Bashir Ahmed said that Babasaheb Ambed kar will continue to be source of inspiration for millions of people to serve the humanity and work for social justice.
“Strengthening bonds of amity and tranquility and ensuring equal opportunities of progress and development to all will be a befitting tribute to the great visionary, who strived all his life to promote harmony in the society", Mr Vijay Lochan added.
The various other speakers also paid their homage to the Babasaheb and dwelt upon various facets of his life. They said the nation will always remain indebted to the Messiah of weaker sections of society who gave the country a Constitution that has withstood test of times.
