DLE carries out Intensive inspections at Udhampur

JAMMU, Dec 7: In order to ensure and streamline the supply of quality agriculture inputs to the farmers intensive field inspections of various distribution centres of seeds, pesticides and fertilizers were carried out today at Udhampur by the enforcement team led by Director Law Enforcement (DLE), J&K, Sushil Sahni and Assistant Director Law Enforcement (ADLE) S Baljeet Singh Raina along other officers of the department.
While inspecting M/s Manoj Ji & Co; the authorized Railway Out Agency for Rail Head Point Udhampur, it was found that the Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) Chemical Fertilizers bags stocked there were found in torn and shabby conditions. As per physical conditions it was found unfit for dispatch and distribution to the retailers and farmers. Assistant Director Law Enforcement and Enforce ment Inspector, Udham pur were directed do the sampling of the concerned lots to initiate further action in the matter. Director Law Enforcement (DLE) directed the Railway Out Agency Concerned not to dispatch the stocks held in the godowns to Kashmir Valley or Jammu Division or any other part of the state.
A notice in this regard has been served to the company to provide complete records of stocks, receipts, dispatches and details of damaged Chemical Fertilizer with rake-wise details as per Fertilizer Control Order-1985.
