JK Convent School celebrates 8th Annual Day

JAMMU, Feb 15: JK Convent School celebrated 8th Annual Day 2018 with amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation. Vaid Mahajan Gen. Secy. PDP was the chief guest and Kamal Gupta President Private School association was Guest of Honuor whereas Rameshwar Gupta presided over the function.
The programme commenced with the lightning the Ceremonial lamp by the Guest, escorted by the other dignitaries and the Principal. This entailed the bouquet presentation and pinning of badges.
The principal Renuka Verma welcomed the guests and introduce the Chief Guest to the gathering. She shared the school's Annual report of the past session. This was followed by the prize distribution ceremony, managed by Megha Sharma, where the Chief Guest gave away prizes to the academically meritorious pupils of the school.
The cultural programme based on the theam UTSAV for the peace and happiness comprised the welcome dance and many colour full dance performances, and special attraction was the Play on old age home appreciated by all the guests. The Play was Directed by Ravinder Sharma and Dances were Choreographed by Vimal Koul and Sunil.
