J&K Grameen Bank organized D-FLAP drive

JAMMU, Feb 15: J&K Grameen Bank organized D-FLAP (GOING DIGITAL) at village Kotli Jhajjar under the Branch Office Kotli Jhajjar, Tehsil-Jammu District-Jammu Micro Finance and Financial Inclusion Department under the chairmanship of Sh. R.K Chhibber in collaboration with NABARD organized Digital-Financial Literacy Awareness Programme at villageKotliJhajjaron the theme of Public participation in promoting cashless economy under the Branch OfficeKotliJhajjar, Tehsil-Jammu, District-Jammu. Mukul Mehta, P.A. to Chirman (Sr. Manager) of J&K Grameen Bank,was the chief guest on the occasion, aware people aboutdevelopments in banking sector and latest schemes. The participants were informed regarding various modes of getting cashless transactions from banks, various safeguards to be kept in mind in order to be aware and prevent cases of cheating/ corruption while availing different banking facilities with special reference to use of ATM Cards, Mobile Banking etc. People were educated about the Aadhar Seeding and Mobile seeding with their respective saving bank accounts which is need of the hour for the banking sector. Smriti Kesar, Supervisor of NRLM, was the Guest of Honour on the occasion, appreciated the efforts of the bank towards social security schemes. Vipan Gupta, Senior Manager, MF&FI Department, J&K Gram-een Bank, highlighted that the programme intends to impact the gathering regarding digitisation by educating the people about the benefits of digital banking and a cash less economy.
