Sat inaugurates lane, drain work at Janipur

JAMMU, Feb 16: BJP State President & MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma along with local political leaders in the august gathering of prominent citizens inaugurated lane and drain construction work in Booth Numbers 1 and 10 of Ward No. 37 of Janipur area falling under Jammu West Constituency.
While addressing the local people gathered on the spot, Sat Sharma said that the prime motive of the BJP is to address the public's problems on the ground.
He said that the issues related to the water, roads, electricity, sanitation and other issues are being taken promptly with the appropriate agencies. He also claimed that the many new projects are being worked upon for improving the infrastructure in the constituencies.
Sat also made the door to door approach to local people and enquired about the issues concerning for the appropriation of public utilities.
Locals apprised the MLA with their grievances they are having with the public concern departments.
Locals claimed that the constituency has seen unprecedented growth in the recent years under the present dispensation which was not witnessed in several decades.
Sat Sharma, while briefing on the present lane and drain work said that the present work is being done by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) with the estimated cost of 25 lakh rupees. BJP State Additional Publicity Secretary Parduman Singh, Janipur Mandal President Vijay Sharma, Sahil Gupta, Booth President Viney Gupta, Ramesh Khajuria, Sunita Gupta, Sangeeta Verma, Swaran Singh, Raidulari, Vicky Sharma and others were among the prominent persons present during the inauguration.
