Man shoots dead his brother over land dispute

Ghaziabad, Apr 24: A man today shot dead his younger brother allegedly over a land dispute in Sultanpur village, police said. Senior superintendent of police Vaibhav Krishna told that Pradeep Kumar (28) was shot dead by his elder brother Kuldeep.
Both the brothers had an altercation on the issue and Kuldeep fired upon him, following which he died on the spot and Kuldeep fled, he said. On receiving information from locals, police officials rushed to the spot and took the body in its custody. The body has been sent for autopsy, he said.
Police have launched a manhunt to nab Kuldeep, the SSP added. This is the second case which took place in 24 hours in the Murad nagar area. Last night, four unidentified persons reached the residence of realtor Sunder Tyagi and took him to the place where he used sell plots on the pretext of purchasing a land of 200 meters and allegedly fired upon him. He was admitted to a private hospital in Ghaziabad, where he succumbed to his injuries. The matter was a result of enmity over land dispute.
