VC, SMVDU meets Governor

SRINAGAR, May 21: Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Vice Chancellor, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, called on Governor N.N. Vohra, Chancellor of the University, at the Raj Bhavan today. Prof. Jain briefed the Governor about the progress achieved in the past months in the academic, administrative and infrastructural development arenas and the initiatives presently underway.
Governor discussed with Prof. Jain the importance of systematic efforts being continued to attract the best persons to fill Faculty positions and, side by side, ensuring that there was no gap whatsoever in the quality of teaching and maintaining sharp focus on the implementation of relevant research projects.
