SSP Crime appears in person; assures court of service of summons on witnesses



PATHANKOT, Jun 11: The SSP Crime Branch Jammu Mr. Ramesh Jalla appeared before the Sessions Judge Pathankot Dr. Tejwinder Singh and gave a statement to the effect that there will be a due compliance of the directions issued by Supreme Court of India in this trial. He further assured that service of summons of prosecution witnesses shall be effected expeditiously, for the expeditious disposal of the trial. "Accordingly, in view of the above mentioned statement given by SSP, Crime Branch, Jammu it is desired that the prosecution shall get the service of summons effected upon prosecution witnesses expeditiously, in order to duly comply with directions issued by Hon'ble Supreme Court of India for expeditious disposal of this trial." the sessions Judge Pathankot directed.
Meanwhile the examination of witnesses and cross examination has started which shall be continued and witness has been bound down.
Mr. A.K. Sawhney Advocate, Aseem Sawhney Advocate, Neeraj, Anil Sharma Advocate, Shiv Dev Singh Thakur Advocate, Utkarsh Pathania Advocate, Ila Khajuria Advocate, Vinod Kumar Mahajan Advocate, Naresh Salgotra Advocate and Naresh Raina Advocates appeared for the accused No.6 Tilak Raj. Mr Aseem Sawhney on questioning by media declined to comment as he said that the trial was in camera.
