J&K Grameen Bank hands over PMJJBY death claim

JAMMU, Jun 20: Micro Finance & Financial Inclusion Department, J&K Grameen Bank under the Chairmanship of Janak Raj Angural is conducting a state wide campaign regarding social security schemes including PMSBY & PMJJBY wherein the people are insured at a nominal premium of Rs 12 & Rs 330 respectively.
Recently, J&K Gram-een Bank organised a programme in which PMJJBY claim is handed over to the nominee. The claim was reported on June 07, 2018 and settled through the bank on June 16, 2018. The dependents of the deceased thus got financial help of Rs. 02 Lac within a short period from the death.
Chairman, Janak Raj Angural was the chief guest on the occassion, the lump sum amount of Rs.2 lac regarding PMJJBY claim is handed over to the nominee of the insurer Deepak Kumar by the Chairman Sh. Janak Raj Angural . He appreciated the efforts of the bank towards the social security schemes and after a span of more than two years, 100 percent claim settlement rate is maintained by the bank and the nominee of the insured person get a financial aid of Rs. 2 lac. He further informed the people regarding the various schemes of the bank including car, housing loan and education loans.
They were informed that the bank is offering loans to the customers at the lowest interest rate in the state. Commercial Vehicle Finance Scheme @10.25%, Financing Pass-enger buses for Private Educational Institutes @ 10.25%, Car Loan @9.40%, and Mortgage Loan Scheme@11.70%.
