Live demonstrationon Paddy Drum Seeder conducted

JAMMU Jun 23: Depar-tment of Agriculture,Sub Division Samba organised a one day training program where demonstration of Paddy Drum Seeder was given at Ramgarh's village Khokhrechak.
A large numbers of farmers took part in the program.
While inaugurating the program Chief Agriculture Officer, Samba Narender Mishra addressed the gathering and stressed on availing maximum benefits from CSS and state sponsored schemes of agriculture department to achieve the government target of doubling farmers income by 2022.He emphasized to achieve the target farmers has to adopt new innovative technology.
Arun Jaral (Agri. Ext. Officer)who was called there as resource person gave practical live demonstration in an area of 2 kanals regarding the operation and functions of paddy drum seeder.
Distt Agriofficer, Samba Vijay Upadhyay, SDAO,Samba Tilak Raj Sharma, SMS's, AEO's, JAEO's and AEA's were also present during the program.
