Hina Khan threatens jeweller with counter notice, accepts stylist lost jewellery worth Rs 11 lakh

Hina Khan has responded to the reports that she has not returned jewellery worth Rs 11 lakh that was loaned to her for an award function. Earlier, the jeweller had sent a legal notice to the former Bigg Boss contestant for failing to return ornaments that she wore to Dadasahib Phalke awards in April.
When the jeweller reached out to Hina, she said that her stylist has lost the jewellery. The legal notice said that when they persisted, the TV actor issued threats. In the notice, the jeweller has asked Hina to return the jewellery, pay Rs 2 lakh towards compensation for loss of business and harassment and tender a written apology.
Hina, who had earlier dismissed the legal notice as a hate tactic on her Twitter account, has responded to the legal notice. Speaking to ABP, she said, “Firstly I didn’t wear their jewellery as I didn’t like them and opted for another one. My stylist Hemlata’s assistants misplaced it in auto rickshaw. She is trying hard to return it and she has already paid about Rs 2.86 lakh.
Media houses are discussing legal notice which has reached to them unfortunately and not me. I just want to say, show me the signatures of receiving on it. But definitely this incident has defamed me, so, my lawyers are looking into it. They don’t know what is going to happen to them. They are definitely going to receive a legal notice from me. I will make sure they apologise (sic).”
Hina, who recently came out with her music video Bhasoodi, had earlier dismissed the reports of legal notice on Twitter. Hina tweeted, “LOL wonder why this legal notice did not reach my house and instead reached all the media houses.. sorry haters this tactic will not work.. try something new.. bhassodi will still shine.”
She has also been retweeting fans who came out in her support and called the notice a ‘hate tactic’. Hina’s song Bhasoodi has recently come out. “We know Hina mam who all are behind this. Suddenly coming when they see how #Bhasoodi is going blockbuster. ur fame and success has got so many enemy .. u r very sweet, honest and real but mam u have to be smart from these kinds of cruel people.. I m proud fan ur #WeLoveHinaKhan (sic),” said one tweet that Hina retweeted.
She also retweeted another fan who wrote, “It’s pure jealousy,well planned strategy of a abusive fandom ...as they r unable to digest the stairs of achievements Hina has been climbing for years n always wins at every step due to her hardwork but they can’t succeed as #Bhasoodi is huge success and Hina is name for success (sic).”
Hina is also in the news for apparently playing Kamolika in Ekta Kapoor’s reboot of Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Talking to here, Hina said: “I won’t say it’s not happening, but I suggest let’s wait for the official announcement. Yes, I did go to meet Ekta and somehow people started to speculate, and it came to a point where they even confirmed that I’ve been roped in for the show, whereas I’m yet to sign anything.”
