Inter school quiz competition held

JAMMU, Aug 13: The Army, with an aim to foster the spirit of healthy competition within the aspiring students of Rajouri region, organised an Inter School Quiz Competition.
A total of 14 schools fielded their candidates in two categories ie Seniors (class XI & XII) and Juniors (class VIII to X). The event was conducted in two phases wherein the competing schools fielded their candidates for screening test on 08 Aug 18. The best six teams in each category progressed to the final round at Raina Auditorium.
The quiz was conducted in a professional and realistic manner testing all quotients of the participant's knowledge. The students displayed tremendous grit and talent and ensured a neck to neck competition. Ultimately, Govt Boys Hr Sec School emerged victorious in the Seniors category with International School finishing as first runners up and Happy Home Hr Sec School as second runners up. In Juniors category, Army Goodwill Public School bagged the first position followed by Delhi Public School as first runners up and Happy Home Hr Sec School as second runners up. The event was meticulously conducted with the help of Headmistress and teachers of Valley View Army Public School and was attended by host of civil and military dignitaries. The effort was very much appreciated by all the attendees and students were left filled with joy and are looking forward for similar learning experiences.
