Army organises drawing, painting competition

JAMMU, Aug 13: With an aim to encourage the students to display their talent and also boost their confidence, Army organised a Drawing and Painting competition on the theme of 'Soldiers' at Govt Middle School, Bisali in Rajouri district.
The competition was organised as a prelude to celebrations of Independence day and aimed to induce sense of creativity and affection towards Armed Forces in school going children of border areas.
Students from Bisali and nearby villages participated in the competition and expressed their imaginations on the canvas.
The Drawing and Painting competition has provided a platform to the young students wherein they can showcase their skills with painting brushes and crayons and expressed their imaginations on the canvas. Participating students were provided with required stationary and accessories for the competition.
Winners and runners-up were suitably awarded.
The parents and the local population expressed their appreciation to the Army for conducting such events and said that organising such events for young students immensely helped in enhancing their creativity and helped giving their shape to their expression.
