RASSANA MURDER CASE: 40th Witness to be recorded by Court
CHALLAN FILED AGAINST TALIB IN RAPE CASE, FIXED FOR AUG 18

PATHANKOT, Aug 13: Pathankot Sessions Judge recorded 39th witness in Rassana Murder Case. An application was moved by the prosecution before the court that escort police be permitted to handcuff the accused persons while bringing them from Gurdaspur Jail to Pathankot court.
Mr. A.K. Sawhney Advocate defence counsel alongwith others filed the objections alleging that the prosecution is raising the flimsy grounds to handcuff the accused person. Approximately 3 months have been completed and no untoward incident has been reported till now and the court proceeding are going on smoothly and prosecution is raising such pleas without any basis. Supreme Court in its order dt. 7-5-2018 mentioned that accused should be treated innocent till guilt is proved. Each day proceedings are being conducted smoothly despite the fact prosecution is keeping names of the witness's secret and who are to be conducted. Prosecution is keeping top secret and despite all this prosecutors intends to handcuff the accused persons for nothing.
Meanwhile the challan was produced against Talib Hussain in Rape case by Samba police. The challan was presented on August 11th, 2018 before CJM Samba and committed to the court of Sessions Judge Samba. The next date is fixed for August 18th, 2018 before Sessions Judge Samba. The case shall be fixed for arguments on framing charge.
