DPS Udhampur celebrates 72 Independence Day

UDHAMPUR, Aug 14: Delhi Public School Udhampur celebrated the 72 Independence Day in a unique way on August 14, 2018. DPS Udhampur celebrated this Day with great splendor, joy and respect for Mother India at its premises.
The celebrations to mark this day commenced with patriotic singing, dance performances, Nukkad Natak, and an inspirational speech on "Mother Land".
The Chief Guest of the day was DC Udhampur Ravinder Kumar (IAS) and the Guest of the honour was SSP Udhampur Jenab Mohd. Rayees Bhat.
Both of them were mesmerized to see the cultural program put forth by the children.
They stated that whenever they have visited DPS Udhampur the students have showcased extravagant talent.
The Pro Vice Chairman of the school Dr. J.C Gupta urged the students to fight with their minds.
He also motivated the students to contribute towards the progress of the nation and encouraged them to value the importance of the Independence.
Towards the end of the celebration, School Principal, Dr. Kunal Anand congratulated the representatives of Young India who had begun small but were making continuous impro-vement and working towards their big finales.
Through his speech, Dr. Kunal Anand instilled in his students the thought that they can discover themselves and become great, independent Indians by following their passion and dreams.
