Free dental check-up, awareness camp held

JAMMU, Aug 14:Dr.Gau tam Sharma, President elect of Indian Dental Association (IDA), informed that a dental check up and oral health awareness camp was organised by Yogoda Satsanga Dhyana kendra, Udheywala, Jammu in association with R K Dental clinic, Bhagwati Nagar.
More than 100 patients were examined in the camp and given the required treatment, patients were also advised oral hygiene measures to be adopted for good oral and general health by Dr.Kunal Vuthoo and Dr.Vishal Vuthoo from R K Dental clinic.
Dr.Gautam Sharma, said that the dental check-up and awareness camps are mandatory to screen various oro-dental diseases at an early stage which may sometimes prove to be fatal if not treated in time.
Dr Reddy's laboratories representative Ashish Bhan , Intas pharmaceuticals ltd representatives Ashu Raina and Parteek Singh and Aristo pharmaceuticals representative Aman Sharma were present on the occasion and provided oral hygiene materials and medicines which were distributed to patients free of cost.
Dr Kunal Vuthoo and Dr Vishal Vuthoo explained the patients about the importance of maintenance of oral hygiene.They motivated the attendees to regularly undergo dental check up and also advised them to brush twice daily with soft bristle toothbrush which is mandatory for maintaining good oro-dental health.
