PCPG meeting held

JAMMU, Aug 14: To strengthen the Police-Public relations and bring the people closer to the Police, today a PCPG meeting was held by I/C PP Chatha SI Arun Slathia at Booriya Mohalla, Chatha. Approx. 25 to 30 People of the area (male/Female) participated in meeting. At the outset of the meeting, the participants were welcomed by the I/C PP Chatha and requested them to put forth their genuine problems. During the meeting the participants put forth their grievances which were redressed by theI/C PP Chathaon spot. Besides, the issues like-drug addiction, consumption of liquor and rash driving were also discussed.
Main focus of the meeting was to aware the general public from security point of view on eve of forth coming Indep endence Day. They were advised to inform the nearby Police, if they find any stranger/suspected person or any suspect ed/abandoned object in their area. They can also share such information with Police through dial 100 service of Policefor immediate necessary action by the police. At last chairing Police officer thanked the participants for sparing their valuable time to attend the meeting and assured them for better co-operation from Police.
