Secy SWD reviews 'Poshan Abhiyaan' scheme

SRINAGAR, Aug 14: Secretary Social Welfare Department, Dr Farooq Ahmad Lone Tuesday convened a meeting to review the implementation of Poshan Abhi yaan (National Nutrition Missi on) scheme in the State. During the meeting it was decided that State level Convergence Committee/District level convergence Committee and Block level Convergence shall be constituted as soon as possible for effective implementation of the Scheme at gross root level beside it was emphasized that necessary arrangements shall be made for celebration of National Nutrition Week form 1st September at State and District level.It was also decided that the matter regarding the release of matching share of the Scheme will be taken with the Planning Development Department/Finance Department.
