Trishool Bhaint Yatra to start from Aug 24

DODA Aug 17: The Two days annual festival, Mela in the Trishool Bhaint yatra, is Celebrated since 1982 in the memory of Re-installation of ancient idol of Mata Durga after it was recovered from Chenani (Udhampur) stolen by smugglers from the Temple.
The village Dedni about 30-35 kilometers away from District Doda. This year Darbar of Durga Mandir Dedni is now going to start Mela in this year on August 23 to 25, 2018 on the eve of Mela (Mela Mata Rani) on this occasion the pilgrims from various parts of District Doda, Ramban, Udhampur, & Kishtwar, Jammu etc & participate in the annual function/festival. The festivals on the special occasion are celebrated on re-installation of ancient idol of Mata Durga every year. Thousands of pilgrims participate. That every year of this Mela of Mata Darbar celebration for Three days. No doubt District administration provides every rest of facilities including medical.
Security and Now this year one of great facility drinking water for which the public of Marmat Galiyan and particularly the managing committee is highly grateful of District administration still there a great problem is being faced during the festivals i.e. the provision of electricity power supply.
In addition to the main festivals the pilgrims visit the scared place throughout the year i.e. from Durga falling in the month of August.
The festival is very colorful and the celebration starts with thousand of people in large numbers visiting the Temple of Goddess Durga Mata Dedni Walli
The Mandir Poojri and people on August 24 2018. Havan 7:00 am to 8:30 am . and stapna divas of this year Mata Rani Muriti there after Darbar opened for Darsshannd pay obeisance. The Main yatra from Khellni via shree & Saras will start from Durga Mandir Chinar Chowk after Trishool Poojan by 08:30 Am on 24 August 2018. Trishool Yatra from Kihanda (Paryote) Hambal and Seen other parts startling simultaneously. The managing committee Durga Mandir Dedni Walli had organized Jagran every year on August 24 night and people in large numbers visiting the Temple of Goddess Durga Mata Dedni Walli Jagran. The Mela Kud August 25 start 12:00 PMafternoon to 3:00pm Close function 4:30pm. The some of the famous food items to eat during the festival are Rajmash Chawal with Natural fruit, Chatni. Local food specialties include kulcha and are very tasty and one must eat there. Those who love sweets have Jlabis, Pakrowa and pani Puri to eat.
It is a great fair which provides lot of entertainment, natural scenery, joy and spiritual experience.
