Photo walk marks World Photography Day

Chandigarh, Aug 19: To celebrate World Photography Day, a photowalk was organized by ProColor School of Photography & Filming in association with SONY India at Sukha Lake here this morning.
Around 150 amateur and professional photographers participated in the session by by Gagan Singh, Jagjit Singh and Abhit Jhanjhi all senior photographers and Sony mentors. The idea behind the walk was to share the art, broaden the culture and help enthusiasts from Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana and nearby cities to hone their photography skills.
With an interesting line up of activities, ProColor School made these photo-walks experiential for photography enthusiasts to further cultivate their passion and also educated them how Photography can be an excellent alternative career option due to an increasing demand of professional photographers in the market.
The photo walk was accompanied with a hands-on demonstration of Sony , Canon and Nikon's latest high end cameras.
During occasion, Gagan Singh Head of ProColour School said, "Photography is an enabler of memories, all occasions can be preserved and cherished through this beautiful form of art. As people increasingly continue to express themselves through the art of photography, our initiatives like the photo walk is aimed at augmenting their interest in photography."
He further said, "It has been rewarding to see this photo walks bring about an evolution of photography from a hobby to a passion. Such astounding results captured by the participants, encourages us further to continue delighting our customers with the marvels of imaging."
