Khanna reviews election preparations in J&K

JAMMU Aug 19: Bharatiya Janata Party National Vice-President and Prabhari for J&K State, Avinash Rai Khanna reviewed the status of election preparations in the state for Panchayat, Committee, Council and Corporation, in a meeting conducted at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.
BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul along with State General Secretaries Dr. Narinder Singh, Yudhvir Sethi, former Minister Sat Sharma, Deepak Gupta, Gopal Mahajan and other senior leaders attended the meeting. Meeting was focussed at the threadbare discussions on the ground level preparations regarding approaching elections in the state.
The meeting started with paying of heart touchig tributes to the former Prime Minister, Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji by all the BJP leaders present in the meeting. Avinash Rai Khanna threw light on the landmark decisions of Atal ji for the welfare of the Nation and the society. Contribution of Atal ji in the history of the J&K state was also remembered by the senior leaders present in the meeting. The leaders focussed that the vision of Atal ji will be helpful in bringing peace and development in the region and the world. It was also resolved in the meeting that the teachings and thoughts of the great leader will be adopted and propagated by all the party activists in the society.
Avinash Rai Khanna, while addressing the meeting, focussed on the finalizing and implementation of election strategies for various elections in the state. He prompted the senior party leaders to make efforts on the ground level by increasing their Pravas at various levels.
He said that the positive works of Atal ji as well as present Centre government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi must be taken to the common masses. He also asked them to increase the participation of general public in the public welfare schemes.
Ashok Kaul presented the details of the preparations for Panchayat, Committee, Council, and Corporation going on in the state. He also discussed preparations going on in Kargil in relation with the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Kargil elections. He emphasized that absolutely no loop hole must remain in ensuring every single seat in party's kitty.
Sat Sharma, also apprised the National Vice-President regarding the implementation of various Central government sponsored schemes in the state. He also expressed confidence that the BJP will secure good win in every single election in the state. He also called for more extensive work out on various issues related to the elections.
Dr. Narinder Singh and Yudhvir Sethi also presented their views and report on the various issues related to the elections in the state.
