Inter Army Public Schools basketball championship held

JAMMU, Aug 21: Inter Army Public Schools Cluster I Basketball Championship was organised in Army Public School Ratnuchak. Eight schools participated in the tournament which was held from 18 Aug to 21 Aug 2018.
The eight teams contested with each other playing a total of 32 matches in the league cum knockout basis tournament. Two teams for both Boys & Girls contested for the final position. The final matches for the championship was a contest between APS Ratnuchak Vs APS Kaluchak (Girls) in which APS Ratnuchak scored 32 baskets emerging the winners by taking a lead of 13 points. The final thrilling match was played between APS BD Bari and APS Ratnuchak (Boys). APS Ratnuchak won the Tournament setting a new bench mark by scoring 56 baskets with a lead of 24 points by defeating APS BD Bari. The Chief guest Chairman, APS Ratnuchak gave away the Trophy to the winning teams & felicitated the Runners up teams. He congratulated the winning teams for excellent performance in the Tournament .
