Deputation of “Tibetan Parliament in Exile” calls on Kavinder

Jammu, Oct 16: Deputation comprising of "Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile", Central Tibetan Administration from Gangchen Kyishong called upon the former Dy. CM of Jammu & Kashmir, Kavinder Gupta in connection to seek political support and solidarity with the "Tibetan Cause" at BJP headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.
Dawa Tsering, Ven. Jampal Tenzin, Tashi Dhondup and Samten Choedon, all the members of Tibetan Parliament represented the deputation, while explaining their demands in detail.
BJP State Office Secretary Tilak Raj Gupta, State Incharge Media Department & State Press Secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra and District Jammu General secretary Vinay Gupta also present on the occasion.
The deputation, appr-ised the senior leader, that the exiled leaders are very much concerned over the deteriorating situation inside Tibet. Deputation pressed that they have received considerable support for their genuine concerns and they want to show their immense gratitude towards all the representatives from various sectors, especially the MPs and MLAs for their love and concern.
The deputation further said that this is the continuous struggle for the preservation of their culture and heritage from the invasion of autocratic forces. To further raise the momentum and garner support for their cause, this exercise has been started, the deputation said, while requesting the Indian Parliament, State Legislatures and likewise, the different political parties to strive to adopt resolutions on the issue of Tibet in meetings and sessions.
Kavinder Gupta, while listening enthusiastically to their issues, said that it is in the culture and spirit of "Bharat Mata" to stand for the righteous. He stressed that the no one must be oppressed or suppressed in the world and should be given a fair chance to thrive for their beliefs.
He said that he will do the needful in his capacity for their cause.
