YNC pays tribute to Martyrs of 1966

JAMMU, Oct 17: Today Youth National Confe rence payed Tribute to the student Martyrs of 1966, namely Gulshan Handa, S. Gurcharan Singh, Brij Mohan and Subash Chander, who sacrificed their lives while fighting against the shifting of Agricultural University (SKUAST) Under the Leadership of YNC Provincial President and ex MLA Ajaz jan.
Addressing the media persons, Sahil Singh Jamwal said that these Marty's are still Alive in the youth of J&K who laid down their lives while agitating against the government's decision of shifting SKUAST . He added," In 1966 Police opened fire on the agitating students where 4 students were martyred.
While addressing the gathering Sahil said Mothers of Martyr's are very lucky who given birth to these Loins who Foughted for Redressal of Students Grievance
While Farman Malik and Ratesh Choudhary said that these four Marty's are inspiration for the youth of Jammu to come forward for their Rights Sahil Singh Jamwal Provincial Secretary, also Congrat ulated and Praised the efforts JJSF President Adv. Pushvinder Singh Manhas who decided to organize a football tournament in the memory of these Student Martyrs of 1966 so that the Young Generation particularly students shall come to know the contribution of these martyrs
Interesting with the students Vihan, Dev Shubum, and Vidit said that every student and youth will work on the Foot Print of these Martyr's. Other Prominent leaders present are: Hitesh, Raman, Vishav, Harry, Aman, Vikram.
