JK Public School celebrates Ram Navmi, Dussera

JAMMU, Oct 17: Keeping alive the tradition, JK Public School, Kunjwani today celebrated Ram Navmi and Dussehra with fervour.
The dwan of the day was filled with great excitement as it was a special assembly.
The students, Harsheen Kour, Gursheen Kour and Anmol Gupta of Class 11th led the assembly. They spoke about the importance of Navratri, Ram Navmi and Dussehra. Through their words, they reinforced the message that "good always trumphs over evil".
The school choir presented devotional songs instiling the spirit of festivity among all.
The students of Primary Wing enacted as 'Nine Goddesses' who are worshipped during Navratri. While others beautifully depicted the epic scene of Ramayana, where Pawan Putra, Hanumana is praying to Lord Rama, Lakshmana and Mata Sita.
The celebrations preceded with a traditional garbha and dandiya dance by the budding dancers of JKPS. Principal, SK Singh addressing the JKIANS said that we should follow the path of truth, justice and brotherhood, this is what each festival teaches us. He also inspired them to celebrate festivals with true spirit.
