Anantnag police arrests drug peddler

ANANTNAG, OCT 20: Continuing its drive "war against drugs", Anantnag police arrested a drug peddler and recovered huge quantity of dried bhung from his possession.
A police party of Police Post Sangam led by DO Sangam under the supervision of SSP Anantnag laid a naka at Doonipora Sangam. During naka checking a Tavera vehicle bearing registration number JK03D-7713 was intercepted. On checking, 80 kilograms of dried bhung was recovered from the possession of Ajaz Ahmad Ganie son of Mohammad Anwar resident of Hanjipora Semthan.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
