BJP has become party of masses of J&K: Raina

JAMMU, Oct 21: Bharatiya Janata Party today extended heartiest thanks to the people of Jammu and Kashmir for overwhelmingly participating in civic bodies elections , results whereof were declared yesterday , ignoring and overlooking threats , intimidation, strike calls by militants, Separatists and their political stooges . This was stated in a press conference by State President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Ravinder Raina (MLA) at party headquarter, Jam-mu. The press conference which was also attended by State General Secret-ary Yudhvir Sethi, State Chief Spokesperson Sunil Sethi and Spokesperson R S Pathania (MLA) also noted that results have clearly demonstrated that Bharatiya Janata Party has struck cord with the voters and have retained the overwhelming support the people state has been giving party particularly after emerging of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on national political horizon as undisputed Leader of Nation. The public of J&K has voted enmass in favour of BJP owing to the developmental policies by the strong leadership.
Ravinder Raina noted that contrary to propaganda unleashed by vested elements Bharatiya Janata Party has proved to be party of the people of state reflected by unprecedented electoral victory of the party in Jammu Province and also making substantial political in road in Kashmir by winning 106 seats . He said the Hohalla of Impact of Rassana issue on the party support has proved to be fake as party had Resounding victory in epi-centre of Rassana unrest Hiranagar. Similarly the party had huge political victory in whole of District Kathua .
He said that with such large number of civic bodies under control of the party, ground is set for party to make huge political impact in coming Parliamentary Elections as also next assembly elections.
He said that Bharatiya Janata Party will realise it's target of forming next govt in Jammu and Kashmir on its own in view of massive support it enjoys from the people across all regions.
Bharatiya Janata Party state President said that political parties who boycotted elections stood exposed before public as they were fearful of losing miserably. Their boycott had no impact in Jammu Province and despite threat and intimidation the elections were peaceful in Kashmir valley. He said while in Jammu the party will have its own Mayor, in Kashmir, where the party has emerged with solid figures, also the mayor could be with support of Bharatiya Janata Party only.
Ravinder Raina said that in some areas like Leh Ladakh the results are not good for the party and he has constituted team of two senior leaders who will go there and submit their reports about reasons for bad electoral results for those regions. He said many independent candidates who have won elections are in fact party rebel and had only shared the party votes. Many of them have already come back to party folds and many more are approaching party, as they are all from same party ideology. He said party will work for overall development of the state at micro level. He said people have rejected the other political parties in fray including Congress. To a question he appreciated the role of military, para military and police forces for containing Militancy and liquidating militants who are not only enemies of Nation but enemies of the humanity. He said any body entering this great country with evil designs and desires have to meet his fate which can only be his elimination.
