Sat starts construction works at Ward 40

JAMMU, Oct 21: Hundreds of residents of Vasant Vihar, Ward 40 expressed their gratitude to Former Minister and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) for solving their problems and helping the locals in providing the basic necessities. Continuing with the same, BJP MLA visited the ward and started construction works for lanes/drains in the area providing people with a lot of relief. He was also accompanied by JMC Ex En Parbodh Sharma, Corporators of Ward 40 and 41 Neelam Nargotra and Sanjay Baru. A large number of locals were also present. The works will be done under the supervision of JMC under the stage works of the Corporation which were recommended by the BJP MLA. A total of Rupees 8 lakhs will be spent on the same. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that within a time period of nearly four years, Jammu West has managed to get projects worth hundreds of crores of Rupees and most of them are on a phase of completion which will directly benefit to the masses of Jammu West. He said there are more works to be done in the Constituency and without the support of public they are not possible. He asked the masses to become his eyes and ears and let him know about the works which should be taken on priority basis in order to provide immediate relief to the public.
He also stated that though in some areas people are facing some difficulties due to the ongoing works there but these works once completed will prove to be very beneficial for generations to come and such type of infrastructure will last long for many decades..
He also appealed the masses to follow the mission of 'Swach Bharat' and asked them to spare some time as per their convenience to come forward and promoting the noble cause in their homes and localities in order to make a Clean and Green Jammu. Sharma also toured the adjoining areas as well with officials and interacted with locals in order to listen to their grievances and sought immediate relief for them from the officials. Yash Pal, Jai Pal Sharma, Sham Gupta, Parveen Ghai, Manohar Lal Gupta, Kaka Dubey, Sachin Kumar, Rahul Kumar and several others were also present.
