Sessions Judge Reasi pulls Suptt Distt Jail Udhampur; directs to produce accused in Court on Nov 27

Reasi, Nov 20: Sessions Judge Reasi Mr. Kamlesh Pandita directed Suptt. Distt. Jail, Udhampur to produce the accused Mr. Pawan Khajuria and Naresh Kumar in the court on 27th Nov. Mr. A.K. Sawhney (Advocate) counsel for both the accused submitted that accused are not being produced in the court from the day of presentation of the challan till today on 20-11-2018 when the date is fixed. On every date of hearing it is directed by the Court of Sessions Judge Reasi to produce the accused in the court but arbitrarily the Suptt. Jail Udhampur did not produce the accused in the Court. On 20-11-2018 again Mr Sawhney vehemently argued that let the contempt proceedings be initiated against the Suptt. Distt. Jail Udhampur to interfere in the course of Justice and halting the criminal trial deliberately Suptt. of Jail did not care to implement court orders and why the accused are not being produced in the court of Sessions Judge and why the trial is halted for non production of accused in the court.
The case is titled State v/s Pawan Khajuria and Ors. and necessary directions are to be passed and appropriate action should be taken on 27th Nov 2018 if accused are not produced, Mr Sawhney submits that, there is no purpose to keep Reasi case accused at Udhampur. Mr. Sawhney will move appropriate application before the court of Sessions Judge, Reasi to keep the accused at Reasi Distt. Jail which is for the Reasi Distt.
